I would like to address this sentiment among some that the Gandhi's should just leave politics.

Who are these other leaders who are just waiting for Gandhi's to leave Congress. Why haven't they risen up in revolt against Gandhi's. Only then we'll how many Congress workers support them.

You don't get political legacy handed over to you in a platter. You have to fight for it. Even Modi had to threaten BJP leadership to make him PM candidate. He could do it because he had genuine support.

The people of the country are literally begging the Rahul, Priyanka and Sonia to leave politics for good. If they truly care, why not just go? They (at least the children) look like a lizard on ice in the political realm. The vote share will increase much more if someone apart from them takes charge. Someone who can breathe new life in the party and strengthen the party at the grassroots, rather than on Twitter. The Mahatma is the only Gandhi that people in the Congress should look up to as their high command. Sadly this will not be the case and heir apparent will remain heir apparent till 2029 at least.

PS: As someone who voted for the BJP in 2019 (Yes, I regret it now) it is so so frustrating that Rahul is not willing to budge from his chair. Even though we have a parliamentary system, elections are always quasi presidential because you want to know where your vote goes. IMO someone whose party resembles only chaos with nothing to offer the people can do little to improve our country. Even Kejriwal can say he will replicate what good governance he did in Delhi countrywide. What can Rahul say? Nothing. No experience in governance. PMO cannot be a job for a fresher in power. There are no congress supporters under this high command. Only BJP opposed people.

What follows after the fall of the "Great" party is an elephant in the room. the opposition should work to organize themselves so as to not only achieve this feat of winning over the election but to rebuild the nation back on track from where this regime has got on the wrong direction
